    Dear Mr. P.

The long-awaited resurrection of the previously world-renowned furiosity.com and its cut-to-the-quick hammer of judgment has just been brought to my attention.

    I am very pleased.

    That is all.

Whatever happened to Eddie Van Halen? Been following that story for about five years on this site, never quite got the ending ….

  9. Phil says:

“Bush took a transfer to the Alabama Air National Guard in 1972 to work on a Republican senate campaign, and in October 1973 he was discharged for the Texas Air National Guard almost eight months early to attend Harvard Business School and completed his six-year service obligation in the inactive reserve.[22]

There are a number of accounts of substance abuse and otherwise disorderly conduct by Bush from this time. Bush has admitted to drinking “too much” in those years and described this period of his life as his “nomadic” period of “irresponsible youth”.[23] On September 4, 1976, at the age of 30, Bush was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol near his family’s summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine. He pled guilty, was fined $150, and had his driver’s license suspended in Maine until 1978″

  10. Phil says:

In 2002, Bush announced the Clear Skies Initiative,[81] aimed at amending the Clean Air Act to reduce air pollution through the use of emissions trading programs. Critics contended that it would have weakened the original legislation by allowing higher levels of pollutants than were permitted at that time.[82] The initiative was introduced to Congress, but failed to make it out of committee.

“In 2006, Bush declared the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands a national monument, creating the largest marine reserve to date. It comprises 84 million acres (340,000 km²) and is home to 7,000 species of fish, birds and other marine animals, many of which are specific to only those islands.[83] The move was hailed by conservationists for “its foresight and leadership in protecting this incredible area.”[84]”

You ready to say uncle yet?
